MUSIC: YEAR IN REVIEW

This year was truly a celebration of music; just about every kind of artist came out with something interesting: new artists with new talents, veterans with amazing comebacks, sophomore efforts, etc. It was one productive year in the industry. Here I try to portray the melodies and lyrics that drove me through this year. I hope you enjoy it.

TOP 10 OF THE WORST IN 1998

1. The Backstreet Boys, "Backstreet Boys" (yuck)

3. Puff Daddy& Jimmy Page, "Come With Me" (YUCK!)
4. matchbox 20 (good band, but overplayed)
5. Savage Garden, "Savage Garden" (SUCKY album; only 4 good songs)
6. Shania Twain, "You're Still The One" (O.K. song; TOO overplayed)
7. Fastball, "The Way" (ANNOYINGLY catchy; I'm ashamed to say I like this... it's WRONG! ;)
8. N'SYNC, "N'SYNC" (Okay, so they're not as bad as the BSB, but c'mon, do we need more of that?)
9. Celine Dion, "These Are The Special Times" (Celine is alrighty, but this album is FILLER!)
10. Soundtrack, "Titanic" (So, the song is O.K. but Madonna deserved to be #1!)

That's all I could think of! It was a great year! My expectations are all open for 1999... may it rock!
